Chris André Aadland was raised in Bergen, Norway. After finishing upper secondary school studying art and design at the age of 18 in 2007, he decided to spend a year living in Orlando, Florida. When he moved back to Bergen in 2008 he was definite to pursue a career as a photographer. He started his studies at Norwegian School of Creative Studies. Along with his studies he also started shooting for a few tiny publications, festivals such as Hove Festival, musicians and a student newspaper to gain work experience and to gain knowledge of the different genres in photography. Graduating with “Best Studentwork” in photography in 2010, he decided to relocate abroad and started studying for a Bachelor Hons degree at Solent University in Southampton, UK where he currently resides. He often travels to Bergen and are available for work there as well.
