LIFE IS A FESTIVAL

Went to Sommerfesten at Giske. A tiny island outside Ålesund 8 hours north of Bergen. Never been that "far" north before. The scenery was stunning.

And then there was this scenery on the way, that I mentioned. True beauty!

There were cows. But we drove so fast you could barely see them

There was the old cabin we borrowed from Maren's grandparents. This should give you an idea of the whole cabin

Back to the scenery, and the ocean, the probably very cold ocean. Only Stine and Julie went in

Met a German. Germans like to fish in Norway

And then, we went to the festival. A full day with musicians, free food, happy people. Lots of people...

...lots of people holding hearts up to the sky showing their affection and care for those who lost their lives in the horrible terrorist actions that happend in Norway June 22nd. This was so beautiful it gave me goosebumps
