Chris is a photographer based in Bergen, Norway.
He specializes in bold, confrontational portraiture which he shoots for publications such as Telegraph Magazine, Financial Times' How To Spend It, D2, A-Magasinet and Morgenbladet, and feature amongst others acclaimed musician Leif Ove Andsnes and architect David Adjaye.
His empathic, considerate approach is also apparent in his other photographic works. The Village Beneath the Mountain, a series shot during an artists residency in Iceland, explores the narrative and collective identity constructed by it, of what once was a thriving fishing center in the fjords of the north-west region. The body of work has since been published by Yes&No Magazine and FotoRoom.
Chris holds an MA in Photography from London College of Communication.
